Dave is a terrific writer besides being a great guy and dealer with a keen eye.

<< <i>What was absent from this crowd were most of the “big name” dealers – many of whom cannot tell a good coin from a “trap coin” (to use a coin insiders' term) unless it is housed in a PCGS holder and displays a CAC sticker on the front. You would be shocked how many of the biggest dealers in the coin business fall into that category these days. >>

<< <i>I can relate to that story since I once rode in an elevator in Taiwan with Kate Moss. >>
I'm sure that was an uplifting moment. But hours seated next to Michael Irvin? Very cool of Dave to give him space.

"Uplifting" moment? Ouch!
I once saw Dr. Kissinger inside the global HQ of Chase (before merging with JPM). This was 20 years ago. He had an office inside Chase. Not sure why.
I also ran into Mariel Hemingway walking along Central Park South. As she was walking towards me, before I recognized her, I thought "OMG, that is a very beautiful woman". This was also around 20 years ago.
I've also ridden in elevators, on separate occasions, with Jon Corzine and Hank Paulson. Meh - they don't seem like such a big deal to me.
