OT: Anyone want to help one of my buddies?

I'm not into asking for help (save when I did a fundraiser for my girls' preschool, and generous poster bought a wreath), but this isn't for me. My friend, James, who has been my best since we were 5 (29 years ago) underwent heart surgery yesterday. He's been in and out of the hospital since November, dealing with a variety of infections, ailments, and the removal of his appendix. All of that is no big thing, but yesterday he underwent open heart surgery to replace a faulty valve. A Washington State grad, James went into a field that doesn't pay nearly as much as he'd like, but he does a job he loves. He's been unable to work for months, and when the bills come due, it'll be putting stress on his newly conditioned heart. His dad, Jim (James Sr) started an online fundraiser to help his boy out.

This isn't spam. This me reaching out, trying to help my oldest, closest friend.
