Ebay No response from buyer

Sold on 5/16. My auctions all state payment is due 72 hours after ending. If you contact me within the 72 hours with an issue, I always make arrangements.

The buyer has since received feedback for 25+ transactions. Granted the feedback for all may not be since 5/16 but you get it. Not an expensive card but principles still matter.

And what happened to the negative feedback option? I'm sure the topic has been covered but I'm annoyed at it. Thanks for reading.

Thanks to sellers using feedback as retaliation, and holding it hostage against buyers, eBay got rid of negative feedback against buyers a couple years ago.

There's nothing you can do but file a NPB alert to recoup FVF and block that buyer. Too bad NPB strikes does absolutely nothing anymore. It used to be 3 strikes and you're gone.

I have the same problem now....I automatically open a NPB case after 8 days. Any item not paid should be an automatic neg on the buyer, no explanation needed.

If you open a case it will get his attention. I have had a handful of issues with no response but as soon as they get the email from EBAY a case has been opened they respond with payment.

There are a lot of buyers for who are waiting on paychecks or funds from a sale to make good on the items they have purchased. This could easily be the case.

I personally don't get the concept of bidding if you can't pay right away but many do.

My policy is to give the buyer 7 days to pay. This was always ebay's suggestion/policy, I am not sure if that has changed.

If looking at a sellers auction and he/she demands payment in three days I NEVER bid on their items! Do these sellers then ship the item overnight? I just don't see what the rush is. I usually pay immediately, but once in a while I have to wait for funds.

However if buyer can't pay in this amount of time, or offer up an explanation, seller should be able to leave feedback warning other sellers of buyers actions.

dare i say it, but some of us small fries gotta take a number and wait if even getting paid at all.

the few people i've blocked recently due to NPB, seemed to be capable of paying their bills with folks like Rick, but when it came around to my nickels and dimes, the couch cushion was empty. image

I agree there is no rush but I just want to make contact within 3 days. If you don't have the funds or something comes up we make arrangements, but they should reach out.

They really should give you the option of leaving negative feedback after you have taken all the steps and your case gets closed.

Some buyers take FULL advantage of the Ebay policy......can't really file a NPB until 4 days and THEN they have days to pay after that.......basically a week to pay, which is ridiculous.
