No, not yet. Made six bids to be certain and have not seen a cent yet.

Yup, sure did. Not sure why eBay had such an odd promotion. They should have put up some stipulations like, at least one has to be a winning bid or the closing prices have to be within 5% of your bid. Otherwise you can bid $10 on some gold coin with no hope of winning or even pushing the bid increment up where eBay would at least collect a percentage of that incremental bid.

My guess is to prop up activity numbers to appease the advertisers.

    Who knows.

Yes but it's not added into the total yet... However if I click on the ebucks it shows the extra $5.

Funny since they usually send out a gazillion emails none was received about this reward having been issued.

didn't get the ebay bucks until I purchased something else. Immediately upon paying for some fishing lures, I got the "$5 bonus bucks" or whatever they called them.

Mine just showed up this AM. Not yet reflected on the main "My eBay" screen but are in the account when you click on the link for "eBay Bucks" so I guess it is processing as we speak. I suspect that is what is going on for the others who haven't seen theirs yet. Free money in any amount works for me image

Either I missed it or was not asked. Would have done it to get $5 bucks off on a coin I wanted.

Nope. Still got the same measly 36 cents that I had before bidding.

In checking my didn't win page, I see only 4 items listed instead of the 5 I thought I'd bid on, so OH WELL!

I have never used ebay bucks. It is very simple why they would do this. They are doing this to get higher prices for items and thus a higher final value fee. I would simply place a low-ball bid early on items that I know that I have no chance to win. Seems to me that they are paying us to be shills. If everyone took advantage of this offer, just think how many more bids there will be.

I found five large lots of 90% silver that were recently listed at .99 starting and bid $2.00 each on then. Somehow I got outbid all five times.
