<< <i>This seller shows up from time to time on ebay with sets like this, and every time I have my doubts. Anyone have any experience with them? >>
I was wondering the same thing, but tough to argue against his feedback...The fact that he shows some OC cards seems honest but I've been burned by buying raw cards in situations like this...I asked some questions of him. I'll let you know what I hear as there are a couple sets I'm interested in.
They r Sweet sets for sure.I would have to say he is a seller of integrity. Many sellers that sell sets will tell you that the sets are nr mt but when you receive the sets the stars leave a lot to be desired. This often happens.
Current bidding on the hockey sets is only $310 - wow. I know there is still some time left, but that seems very low.
Check out the Phil Esposito card that is part of the hockey item - he is wearing slacks, and the gloves belong to #17 - he wore 7. "Hey Phil, thanks for coming in. Just put the sweater on, and grab a stick. Those gloves right there will be fine. Now smile..............and done. Thanks again." That picture also shows up in another year's set, and I believe Ken Hodge and Pie Mckenzie went with the hybrid NHL/street clothes look for their cards.
