BBCE Box Wrapping

I'm new to the board but not collecting. Several years ago I started collecting packs, boxes, etc. last year I went to the National and dropped my entire show budget at the BBCE booth. Of course my boxes and packs came wrapped. What I'm curious about is I see many of you on here discuss getting your boxes certified by Steve. Is there a certification service and wrapping BBCE does for a fee? I've checked their website but can't find the cost and would like to have some items I have accumulated over the years wrapped and certified. Any help on this topic is appreciated.

    Welcome!

BBCE will usually certify and wrap boxes for 4%-5% of the box value + return shipping. E-mail them with what you have to get exact rates and include their return e-mail in your shipment.

  • Thanks for the info. Exactly what I was wanting to know. Do they provide the same service for racks? I bought several 70's racks with stars showing from the wrapped on card board and would want some of my racks done as well. Just curious if you know. I guess I can always inquire with them as well. thanks again.

A couple other points on boxes. BBCE won't certify vending boxes. If you have/buy boxes previously wrapped by them with clear cellophane, they will rewrap them with the new cellophane for a flat $5 per box + return shipping.

As far as racks, I am fairly certain others have done this, but I have no idea on rates as I've not sent racks in myself. Not sure how they would determine rack values either.... you're right, it's probably best to contact them directly, let them know what racks you have (as well as who is showing front & back) and have them quote you a price.

I hope you will show off some of your prized items, be they unopened pieces or other.
