1957 Topps

I really love my modern and enjoy collecting and building sets but its time for an old one. I really started collecting in 1975 and bought a ton of racks at a local grocery store. (Oh to have those back now) I did have two packs from 1969 that my grandma kept for me, I was four so I'm not sure where they came from. I decided to tackle the 1957 Topps set because I always enjoyed this set. The only card I have is the Hank Aaron. I'm looking at the stars to be at least PSA five or six and the others I'll probably keep raw. I will be focusing on centering. I plan on getting the Mantle at the National and have a goal of at least 100 cards before that. Thoughts ? Recommendations ? Ideas ?

Yes, it is a wonderful set, have been working on one in EXMT+ condition for about 7 years now. Make sure you really want to build an entire set before beginning as it is very time consuming to find centered cards, and very expensive due it popularity and large amount of stars, rookies, and scare series. Most of the lots on eBay will have o/c cards but you might plan on buying a starter lot and reselling what you don't want.
