EBAY Purchase History Feature....

It is always interesting to go back in time and see what you bought and what you paid for items. Especially if you get cards graded.

I have definitely had some big winners and some big losers.

Anyone else ever use this feature to see how you did?

I haven't used the feature on eBay as much as I've used my bidding history through eSnipe. That's come in quite handy.

i keep a notebook with hard copies on everything i've ever purchased on eBay. if i want to astound me, though, all i need to do is see what i paid for unopened products last year vs. what they appear to be worth now.
  • Oh yeah! I always get a good chuckle out of my sporadic buying habits and wonder what the heck was going through my mind on some of the purchases. Since I do not keep any records of purchases, it is fun to look back at it ever six months or so. Thankfully, I've had a lot more hits than misses but did I really need that case of 1990 Score Baseball or 1990 Hoops basketball in the hopes of self-submitting PSA 10's of any Bo's, Frank Thomas, or Jordan cards. Some months I buy nothing but baseball, then only football, then only basketball. What I also find both fun and sickening is to check out past PSA subs and seeing the ratio between great subs and turning $6 into a graded card worth $2.

I keep a hard copy of all my sales and all my purchases....for the most part I can justify the purchases that I have made. I do have some remorse on a few of my sales though and wonder what I was thinking? At least with a bad purchase it is only money, with letting a card go you may never see it come up again and that is where I truly question myself on occasion. This will not prevent me from selling as it helps me purchase some great high end collectibles, but letting a Hogan 1982 All Stars PSA 9 for $135, or selling a signed 1954 Parkhurst rookie of Lou Thesz for $10 are things I remind myself of sometimes. Oh well, I have some great sales along the way.

How do you view what you bought more than 60 days ago? The longest option for choice in my purchase history section is 60 days.

If I opened it, it was a loser. If I sold it unopened, it was a loser. If I bought it and it's still unopened, it was a winner.

How far back does the history go?
