For players from 2002-Present, I'm aware the Topps Chrome & SP Authentic usually get voted as the key RC for registry purposes. I wanted to know - Is there a brand that is usually considered to yield the players' "very best" RCs? Have to imagine it's probably some sort of super short print and/or auto/refractor type thing? Curious specifically about these players:

Ed Reed
Jared Allen
Brandon Marshall
Calvin Johnson
JJ Watt
AJ Green
Andrew Luck
Eddie Lacy

Just start with that year's high end brand and keep going down the list until their rookie card appears.

As you mentioned Topps Chrome and SP Authentic are typically the top registry cards.

Jared Allen (SP Authentic, serial numbered RC)
Brandon Marshall (Don't know)

Exquisite and National Treasures (Licensed Exquisite wins out this year)
Calvin Johnson

National Treasures and Five Star for below players (NT is tops on the food chain)
JJ Watt
AJ Green
Andrew Luck
Eddie Lacy
