    They have to log first.

I have sent in cards in the past and they look like a normal order under your account.

  • How long does it usually take to log them all in? Any idea?

No telling. Some have had log wait times in excess of 10 days.

    Just be patient.

Yes, I'd pump the brakes and be patient. They have to be processed and logged in. Just normal protocol.

For piece of mind call them tomorrow...they will let you know when your arrived package should be logged in...I called mid April with similar concern and they said they were 10 days behind logging in and not to worry...less than that I got an email confirming loggage...you should be fine

  • Thanks for the information. Would like to hope that PSA has some sort of security for all of the cards at their facilities! An article about security would be a nice peace of mind article!

You can use the link on your sub page to confirm if package was scanned in under the tracking no. (before loggage).

Here is the timeline on a recent 5 card mechanical re-holder I submitted. Slightly different service but may still be relatively similar in processing time.

    Arrived 4/7/14 USPS
    Logged 4/17/14
    Popped 5/9/14
    Shipped TBD

Well, they routinely take possession of and grade cards that cost many tens of thousands of dollars, sometimes more, as evinced by the cards in their slabs-- and those made it safely through. Not to mention the value they hold at any given time in aggregate. If that doesn't assuage any concerns, I have driven down there many, many times-- the place is a veritable fort knox. Aside from several security doors that one must pick up phones and call upstairs to be buzzed through (just to get into the dealer lobby in fact), there is a US Military recruiting station in the ground floor. So pour a nice glass of Opus One or pop a Xanax-- or both-- because it is all good image
