Hi Guys,
So I am a huge Chipper Jones fan and have been trying to put together his 1991 topps PSA 10 set. So far I have the Shield PSA 10 OPC PSA 10 Micro PSA 10 and the reg topps PSA 10. The only one I have not been able to get my hands on is the Tiffany PSA 10. There has not been one for sale on ebay for over a year I think and seems to be one of the toughest to locate aside from McGwire and Gooden 1985 PSA 10 (0 pop gooden). So the question is I have an opportunity to purchase a BGS 9.5 Gem Tiffany. I have a display case made for this and have a desperate urge to complete this. I am a bigger fan of PSA than BGS, however, they seem to be just as tough with grading tiffanys. If you were in my situation would you be satisfied with the one card in the display graded as a BGS gem mint, or would you continue your search for a PSA 10? I would possibly think about a crossover, but we know how those usually go.
I am leaning towards the purchase, however, some thoughts on what you would do would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Wow, congrats on the PSA 10 Desert Shield, that's quite a card!
Cheers, and congrats so far!
<< <i>For my collection, as long as it's one of the big 3 TPGs, a mix of slabs doesn't bother me. This is especially true for difficult to find cards, I'll take it in whatever slab whenever I come across it. >>
I agree with this. The only exception for me is if I've already registered the set with PSA. Then obviously you've got to get PSA so that it fits the registry
Regarding Market value that I am not too sure since very few surface. The last one sold a few weeks ago for $410 on an auction. The last PSA 10s that sold on ebay over a year ago was $899 and ($699 4SC) haven't seen one since.
