Thanks for the breakdown. Sounds like you got a pretty good box. I have opened a blaster and a hobby box in the past and I thought both came through pretty well. I really like the inserts in the box. I bought a hobby box for my son last Christmas and I enjoyed watching him open it. He really doesn't watch baseball so he largely didn't know any of the players other than the Giants. He still had a good time. The inserts were really fun and I liked the looks of the cards so I bought a box for myself too just a couple weeks ago. I haven't had time to open it, but I will probably do that in the next couple weeks. I will post my results.

I don't collect baseball, but it's nice to see someone getting good results from retail material. Way to go image

I love it when things are on sale at Wal-Mart and Target. Rarely are they on sale at Meijer. I usually buy these and throw them in the end of the year box. Then on New Year's Eve I rip everything open. The box is the cardboard that our microwave came in. Tons of fun and at a really great price.

The 2012 and 2013 Archives product is one of the funner rips out there, and not at all expensive.

I do prefer the hobby boxes of these...I've heard people grumble about the value obtained, but I like getting Auto's of guys that were star players when I was growing up, even if they aren't worth money. Theres two autos per hobby box. I pulled Eric Davis and Bob Welch on my 2013 hobby box, and John Kruk on my 2012 and I was really happy to get those...

The inserts are fantastic IMO too.
