Pirates win on reversed out call.

Is this the first MLB game to end as a result of a call reversed by replay?

Throw clearly beat him but he was not tagged. Good call.

Right hand got in there. Catcher tagged the ground. Correct call, IMO. Wow.

I'm a Giants homer, but dude was safe. SF's rookie 2nd baseman Adrianza had no business throwing to 3rd.

Heh, in that play you got to see the two big changes to baseball that were made for the 2014 season.

    1) catcher's can't block the plate. Buster Posey fielded the throw and danced out of the way (to avoid blocking the plate) of the sliding runner, trying to get him to slide into the glove.

    2) replay. Umpire called him out, replay reversed it.

The camera angle clearly shows the glove hitting the ground and coming up to tag Marte, but by then the hand was on the plate. Safe.
