'87 Donruss Opening Day set

I have an unopened set of 1987 Donruss Opening Day. With the value of the set so low & the Bonds error so high, do I open it? Anyway to know if your set is an early or late print?

Wasn't the Bonds card always on top, so you know if it was an error card or not??

Looking at eBay it appears that is not the case on the Bonds card??

I'd say go for it. Those sets sell for pretty low, even if you don't have the error card it's not like ripping a vintage pack and everything is OC with no stars.

Open it up. They were meant to be looked at. Anyways if you ever want another one sealed I am sure you find find thousands of them out there.

Mines buried in a Rubbermaid bin so I'll have to dig it out. I literally haven't looked at in since 1990 & didn't even know there was an error there til the other day. Looking at the unopened sets on ebay it doesn't look like Bonds is on top.
