Highest Graded, But Not A "9" or a "10"

Just wondering what cards we have that are the highest graded on record, yet not a 9 or a 10. Such cards are thus pretty damn tough to find in good shape. Might be a short thread, but should bring out some pretty interesting cards. I've only got one card that meets this criteria...

GRADE 2 - POP 1 - 0 HIGHER

Wow-- the Graham and Bednarik are stunning. I can't imagine a hypothetical 9 looking any better than either of those.

I have quite a few cards where an 8 is the highest grade so far but the sample size is not big enough to determine just how tough the card is. The Wrestling All Stars have been being graded actively for going on five years and thus you can garner the true difficulty at this point from the pop reports.

The Fabulous Moolah remains the only card from the 1982 A without a 9 or a 10. This example is just awesome but you can see the white chip on the left border about an inch down. There are a good number of 8's at this point and this is my best one. The card has terrible printing issues, centering problems and easily shown white on the corners. What is very interesting is that the other two cards from this color scheme have plenty of 9's and one has two 10's. If a Moolah PSA 9 ever hits it will bring a strong price for sure.

The 1985 Topps Mini set is comprised of two half sheets. Manning is in the top row of one of the half sheets next to Steve Garvey, both of which are condition rarities. As the story goes, the sheets were lifted from the trash at the printers and cut up in the secondary market. The sheets may have been folded (Manning and Garvey would be at the fold line if the sheets were folded horizontally). Greg Gross (two PSA 5's) and Bill Campbell (two PSA 4's) are also in the same column as the Manning.

Early Mike Schmidt was very experimental with his hair styles.
