My Latest Acquisition (55 RC RC)

I've wanted a Clemente RC for years but never thought I'd own one. When I returned to collecting I knew I could afford one in low-mid grade, but it wasn't a priority.
First priority was knocking down some unopened, next was getting some of my favorite RCs, but that was with some rules I placed around myself in my What's a Grand Getcha Game, and Clemente wasn't gonna fit the rules I set. Well, when I bought my Namath I broke the rules, thus setting a precedent to break again. However, I've already earmarked the cards I want to complete that game/budget.
So last week there's a post re: PWCC and several Clemente auctions, which gets me looking. I found what I thought was a real nice PSA 4 and noticed the seller was from my hometown. Reached out, and sure enough he lives less than a mile from my folks house. We bargained, agreed, and met today. Chatted cards and hobby for a little over an hour and discovered we knew some people in common. I walked away with a new friend, a solid seller to work with in the future and this...
I'm pretty fired up and looking forward to continued dealings with him.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
