Better you than me. I would never walk a whole block to go to a coin show especially one that has ancients. image

I would have had to buy them too. They have a nice look.

What price range for those coins?

I like them, especially the second one.

Well you just bought more ancient coins than existed at all of CSNS.

    that's no fun

he had two other slabbed ancients, a roman republic with a quadriga on the back Macer comes to mind and then a bronze from Bithynia that I know nothing about
other than that within his book of world coins there were a couple of your standard fare gordian and philip denarii

there were 4 dealers at the show image

value? I dunno 4-500 each maybe

Yeah CSNS is not for foreign, especially two weeks after CICF. I was pretty happy with the little group of farthings I got my grubby little mitts on though. All in F or better and it was like the seller was happy to give me a break to move out some of his foreign. I was happy to take them on the flip side of that coin.

That and large cents didn't seem to have much action so I bought two of those as well.

I would have looked longer and worked on more bargains but then we were all brain dead from no food and it was YN drawing time anyway.

You are lucky two find these two coins especially at a four dealer show.

Neat that you had a show so close to home, let alone one that offered some ancients! image

Let's see the other sides of the coins if you get a chance.

I'd like to do a nice write up with a thread for each of these coins (with better images), but as they are likely for flipping purposes (although I won't be sad if they don't sell quickly) I felt it's probably inappropriate
