Optional Set Registry additions!!!

I am not really all that happy about this newly added optional additions to the Bo Jackson Master Set Registry. Either make it count toward the set or don't add it at all. It is stuff like this that makes me not want to participate in the master set collections. Just flat out stupid!

have a clue about anyways. Just forget about it and have fun it's all the way down at the bottom so does it
really matter if you have a 90 Tetley square that PSA says is a proof but it's nothing more than cut off the calender
in square form or a King Bee square that PSA says is a proof but again is nothing more than cut off the poster?
I send in a legitimate card and they say they need more info and send it back? I wonder where they found the info
on those? It's comic relief so don't let it bug you just enjoy the hobby..

Edited for spelling and also just noticed there are multiple cards in red font, but they are not listed at the end of the set. They are listed right where they belong in chronological order.

"2011 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, Lemke (Krause), pg. 1276 - With just 500 of each nine-card single-player set produced, the Nova Edition was Star's top of the line in 1990. Player sets are listed alphabetically. Single cards are not listed because sets are seldom broken. Each set is also represented by an issue of 100 promo cards, featuring black borders at top and yellow at bottom."
<< <i>I thought about this and wonder if the card is added in red because it was past the set registry awards deadline. They mentioned that no new cards could be added to a player master set after 4/30 until the awards were complete. That might explain why it's not at the bottom of the registry set in a different group. >>
I would agree with this, but on the Nolan Ryan Master set there were 4 cards added on Friday, 5-2-2014. 3 of the cards were added to be included in the set (black font) and 1 card was added in (red font) to be optional. The funny thing is all 4 of these cards are from the same 11 card STAR set. So why would card #2, card #3 and card #4 be part of the Ryan Master and card #1 from the same 11 card STAR set be optional. That makes no sense.
Here's a link to the Nolan Ryan Master Set Composition.
To see what I'm talking about look at the bottom of page 2 and the top of page 3 in the Nolan Ryan Master set Composition.

<< <i>Perhaps they were requested on different dates, 3 before and one after 4/30. I can't think of any other explanation. On the Nolan registry, there is a large clump of no-compete cards on the last page. If the Star card was truly not to be calculated I think they'd have placed it at the bottom with the rest. I'm waiting to get some cards back from PSA that will be new to one of my player collection registry sets, I'll let you know how they are added. >>
You may be right, I did not think that they may have been requested on different days.
Yes, please let me know about the other cards you add to the set when you get them back. If they do the same thing and make them optional, but not put them on the end of the list, then that may mean they will be part of the set after the Registry awards are given out.
Thanks for your help,
