<< <i>This doesn't go in the bst forum yet because it's going to take time. Also, don't think that'll maximize return. So relax hair triggers.

To avoid you guys typing redundancies, here's my plan. I'm looking for advice which I'm not seeing. To the negative posters..i pass and haven't read any, so save your breath. So please give suggestions I may have missed.

Due to some great advice amd nice guys here, about 3 yrs ago I was aggressively buying all and any opened. Spent over six figures in collectibles in over the first year....at those prices! I think the market has peaked, maybe 10% left. Not calling a drop, just a leveling off in prices. There are only so many that can afford $1k-$10,000 for a single box of cards.

Some big collectors, connections I've become friends with are also starting to sell. Mostly their doubles and triples though. Due to negativity and this not being fun anymore I'm selling everything. My family and friends have no interest and certain members in the last few years have driven me and others away. Keeping my 1971 all PSA 9-10s. Dbeck100..I said too many 10s because of the price i paid at the time.ugh. And my 65 and high end rookies. I'm NOT leaving the hobby. Just going to be a business..buying and selling vs collecting except high end cards.

    I'll be selling 1967- 1983 unopened. 98% bbce wrapped. I don't have a 68 or 69 box but have multiple packs. Also, a 1971 vending box that
was sold in by a big AH (for pictures). The cello rack and vending boxes start at 75. Individual cellos in early 70s. Some years 1-2 boxes or each, some years 7-8 boxes. And others not needed to be discussed currently.

Strategy..the 67-75 in auction houses. 76-83 on eBay with 20% markup and Bo as others are doing. I'm not offering it to some on here..my choice. So may not use bst forum. The friends and others on here who have contacted me and whom have helped me thru the years with advice, knowledge and time..I'll offer it to them directly at market and to a few, a few hundred dollars below market. I forget who, but one guy needs a 76. He said three guys on here do. I forget who that was. I only have two boxes.bbce wrapped. And, seriously, all mint sharp boxes. one was bought from bbce on 08/13 from bbce for $2800. Oh, if u have suggestions for current market prices and are honest I'd appreciate it. Earlier on I've had guys lowball me on value and their offers. Oh, and some OPC boxes starting with 1975. Also, huge load of individual late 70s trays..bbce. I think I'll trickle the early stuff thru AHs. Or all at one time? Memory lane? I see my log says I have 1967 opc packs. That sound
right?amd of course the mini's. Also, around 80-90 late 70 cellos, ALL with stars. 80 on the front. Those may go on eBay.
The pre 76 boxes are wrapped and as sharp mint as can be as most post 75 are. Multiple of each year, divided series. Some late 70s boxes looked a little worn but bbce wrapped. Also, have a lot of miscellaneous boxes, indiv cellos, racks and wax packs. Although I see some wax I bought thru bbce aren't wrapped. Hmm

Anyways..thatllbe my strategy.it's going to take awhile. But a steady stream of cash will be nice and prob reinvest in stuff I want. Prob will make a major push in MLs auction this month and resell now or later. Tired of staring at boxes. Although they are cool. Suggestions if you
    have time. Thx. >>

Steeler, didn't you just post a couple of hours ago in the group rip thread that you were cancelling the vending box slots you had reserved because you were planning to bid against the group because you wanted to add some more unopened boxes and cases to your collection?

Rarely has someone flamed out so much, so quickly.

Steeler, you can't take things so personally on here.

Yes, you have a couple trolls that have been sniping at you since the 1972 box thread, but most of the others were just simply (and correctly) saying the thread should be on B/S/T... which you acknowledged to be the case.

Your defensive behavior, rather than just taking it on board and moving on, is what people are reacting to now. You mucked up and here, as in life, it's best just to accept that and move on.
