Who is the best to sell consign / auction a collection through

I am looking to sell much of my collection of autograph cards and index cards, certifieds and PSA/DNA Slabbed stuff and who is the best to go with that will get me better than Ebay prices . It is practically every certified autograph hall of famer in Football , Basketball (Most of the 50 Greatest certified), Hockey , and a bit of baseball too and PSA/ DNA slabbed cards and Index cards and about a couple thousand TTM stars/ hall of famers on cards and index cards . Who would be the best to get me better than me better than Ebay prices. I would appreciate any info . Thanks.

rick probstein or pre war collector are both good choices ...I have used them both in the past with no problems

Not sure, but I think what the OP meant was specifically not Probstein or PWCC since he said "better than Ebay prices", but off-ebay auction houses instead? My guess is that he meant something more along the lines of Bussineau or something like that?

  • I could sell them myself on Ebay for better prices than Probstein gets , no offense to Probstein .

Unless you simply don't have the time, why not do it yourself?

Sounds like a very nice collection. Love of the Game and Goldin Auctions both have a following on NET 54 and both have web sites with contact info. Net 54 also has BST section on their boards for the sale of autographed items. You could gauge interest over there in what you have, or seek input from like collectors on the best auction houses to handle your material .

I am not an autograph collector, nor do I have any interest in any of the above entities

I suppose it leaves open a great way to continue to sell on ebay if your account gets suspended for some reason.

Am I the only one who still holds a grudge against "Kenny" Goldin from his regular Shop At Home fleecing fests with Don West and the way Score Board ended?
