Premium Question on 2009 Year of the Ox 1/4oz

Hey Precious Metal Guys,

I picked this up today along with a few other gold coins and wasn't sure on the premium these carry. I saw APMEX pricing at 465 I believe and I know the mintages are low. What's the typical premium garnered on something like this? Thanks

One can ask what they want, as if one wants they can see how long that coin will stay in inventory at that price, instant liquidity is at spot or lower, or if one wants to waste some time they can list on eBay for maybe an insignificantly higher net price...

Also I just checked and maybe that coin been sittin there for a year or longer, price at Apmex is now $410...
It will sit still longer IMO...

The ox isn't one of the big boys for the lunar series. Snake/dragon/rat would have much bigger premiums. Might have to sit on that until the next ox comes out, then there might be new collector interest in picking up the last ones and then you can play the low mintage premium game.

I don't know too many people who would pay more than +$25 on that, but that's just me and my neck of the woods. My lcs would probably get that for less than melt.
