Help with N5 Mantle

Hey Gang -
Need some help here. Got back my first sub and though I did well at grading overall, this is one that came back as N5-Altered.

Fortunately, they made some arrows for me, but I can't tell what they are pointing at. Initially I thought it might be referring to a trim, but wouldn't that be Evidence of Trimming..plus the card measures correctly.

So, I'm not at all familiar with card doctoring so I do not know what they saw that I'm not, or what I should be looking for, and would appreciate ideas or suggestions on what type of alteration I might be missing.

Bought the card about 8 years ago from a volume seller with good feedback, was really disappointed to see the N5.

May have been soaked, or another cleaning method was used to remove dirt and make the borders whiter.

Could be bleaching or power erase. check the surface closely to see if it looks scuffed or worn along the bottom of the image. Not sure why they would erase the fat border side but maybe there was print or other damage they wanted to remove.

The scan is to small to see, but the border may be whitened. Look at the edge of the card.
