In honor of the Babe Ruth Centennial I would like to start a thread on what Bambino memorabilia The Universe has acquired over the years. A '33 0r '34 Goudey is still on my list but you need a grand just to get a PSA poor/fair!

So I will start with mine a 1920 and 1921 Who's Who in Baseball. The 1920 magazine doesn't even have home runs in the stats yet! The 1921 has a cool life story with an idea of what the baseball fans were seeing back then. Amazing! A nice late '50's or '60's pin. Then the rest.

Nobody has won 20 Games or won an ERA title and won batting titles of any kind. Let alone bringing America out of the doldrums, So I think the Babe deserves a permanent thread. Even Lou said yes.

Some great items, as always, gents.

That PSA 1.5 M101-4 and PSA 1 Sport Kings have to be some of the nicest cards in those grades to be found. I love paper loss on the back.

I dig the 1930's Art Deco vibe on the 1987 All State too... it's one of the things that really attracted me to the 1935 National Chicle set.

Love the Ruth lunchbox too. I wish Upper Deck put out one for Walter Payton. I dig the weird stuff.

A very very minor tear on the back makes this one a "2". If you look at the E in Babe you will see it.

80's-- great focus on that #144. That's what makes a great #144 stand-out, IMO, along with some decent centering. Doesn't it feel great to find those freaks in low grade that look so much better?!
