6 5 dollar boxes Pro Set Hockey 1991 US/French

these boxes cost 5 bucks each 1991-1992 Pro Set US and French versions image

opened one so far and BEHOLD the 11 players so far that are being saved. any hidden stuff in these boxes anyone aware of ? Is there really a Niklos and a Nicklos ?

    I remember when they were $700 a box and a whole pallet at Costco sold out in hours.
    At $5 a box, you've already pulled enough good players to make it worthwhile.
    I can't remember all the variations but there were lots - so many it seemed that they were doing it on purpose.

    Pro-Set French were that expensive? Or was it Upper Deck French Hi #'d box?

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    UD French Hi#'s were insane and I recall moving a case for over $10K. Used to sell the Bure and Fedorv for silly numbers. Now you can buy PSA 10's for less than $25 for the pair if you hunt around. But then again, there was a day that raw Canseco rookies would sell for $150...

    The ProSet-French does have a Patrick Roy Auto card as the chase insert if I recall correctly.

    If you're just planning on trashing them, I'd be interested in receiving your #340 Bill Barilko cards from these boxes?


    Also BTW, while the value of the cards in these boxes is low, the list of HOF players in them is relatively long.

    There are 4 different Patrick Roy auto inserts. One in Series 1 English, one in Series 1 French, one in Series 2 English, and one in Series 2 French.

    I couldn't get enough of this stuff when it came out<sigh> I believe it came out early July and
    I was hooked<laughing> ... Now you have my interest up enough on the Barilko card I might
    go in the basement and look? Whats the deal with it before I do such a thing?

    two Bill Barilko's so far in the French version strange no # 340s in the US version. I think you are WAY off on the card being worth 5 cents. thinking more like 3 cents

    I would be interested in the French versions of the CC cards of Scott Niedermayer and Pat Falloon if you see them. They are tougher to find than the other CC inserts and I still haven't come across them yet.
