Hello,
I am considering buying a lot of low-grade (VG to EX) commons and semi-stars for some TTM I'd like to do this summer. I have been offered the following:
75-6 Topps: about 320
76-7 Topps: about 525
77-8 OPC: about 200
78-9 Topps: about 250
79-80 Topps: about 200
80-1 Topps: about 240, scratched
81-2 Topps: about 75 different
Without a chance to review the lot, but knowing that there was:
a) little duplication
b) no major condition issues beyond the general range
c) no stars (Dryden, Orr, etc).
What would you offer the seller for all of the above? This is a private transaction--the seller is an individual, not a dealer and I am not buying for resale.
Thanks for your opinions.

I wouldn't offer much. Topps hockey commons from those years doesn't have much if any value in NM much less low grade. Less than 50 bucks I'd think.
Second, I would offer a $20 bill and not a cent more if you simply want to "play" with these cards.
ON ITS WAY TO NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
I think the $20 may be low but $50 is at the high end.
The 77/78 OPC and 79 Topps are probably the most valuable as commons depending on condition of course.
