1808 Bust Half Dollar. PCGS VF20 with Concentric Toning Rings
For fans of spectacular toning – have I got a coin for you. Rings of gold, green and blue fade to white centers.
This is likely "second toning". That is, a coin that was dipped long ago and then inserted into a sulfur containing coin album (such as a Wayte Raymond coin album) where it sat for many years -- usually decades. Occasionally they would then tone with beautiful, brilliant rings, like this one did.
$495 postpaid. 7 day return for any reason.
