I actually captured my 'white whale' last week and it's due to be delivered today. Details/scans to follow.

    Is this a really low pop card?

    On a side note Barry is a super classy guy. I used to cash checks and help him make deposits when I was in college.

    The 1997 Inverted Atomic is a super low pop, I've never seen any estimated print runs on it above 25 and likely a good bit lower. I think the numbers worked out to 1:192 Cases. Total pop of 2 in PSA holders. The couple past sales I tracked went for $250-300 raw (a lot of that probably having to do with the guy on the other side of the card):

    Agreed, super classy guy and one who's never even mentioned in the PED discussions. Hopefully he'll continue on in a regular managerial or broadcasting role.

    Seriously, congrats on harpooning that beast! I know how excited I was to nail mine a couple months ago, and the pop wasn't as low as yours. This is a true white whale. Again, congrats Kyle!

    Thanks! I was so jealous the first time I saw yours and it's taken forever to figure out what the right price was to pay with so few examples.

    I'll leave it for now, and will try to crossover in the slab eventually w/a 10 min grade. With subs of a 10 & 3 9.5s, it should cross at a 10.
