7070 Type Thread!! Please Post your 7070s!!

Here is my 7070. I made lots of upgrades lately, and was going for an AU+ type set, though a couple of my early large cents are at the XF level. I was going for attractive toning when I could, and I still have many I would like to up grade. Please leave comments/recommendations!!Leaving Gold out for now, as it as morphed into its own album.
Anyways, feel free to post your 7070s!! I love this set and want to see as many as possible!!!

There is no way I'd show you my 7070 after viewing yours.
It would be like taking you to Sizzler after you've taken us to a five star Steak House.

I don't have photos of my completed Dansco album (raw coin version) version, but here is a link to my certified 7070 set I am working on:

I've got two of these albums, the first has been complete for about 10 years and now only gets the very occasional upgrade,
the other was started last year and we're nearly finished, working on it with my kids' help, here's a link: type set B

I did one years ago but it is no longer together. Some coins are now slabbed, some have been sold, and some are still in the album.
I also have another one going with all holed coins. Kind of a cheap way to still have fun with the set.

Mines like Ankurs....I was doing contemporary counterfiets but since there would be a lot of holes in such a set, I've been adding counterstamped and love tokens also...

<< <i>I always wondered why no draped bust silver coinage or flowing hair in the 7070. Anyone know?
Thx

I'd guess they wanted to make it reasonably complete-able, and made some compromises.
The album is not entirely comprehensive nor logical in its cut-offs, for example the large sized 1807-1836 half dollar is included but not the 1815-1828 quarters nor 1809-1828 dimes.
The draped bust large and small eagle silver and especially the flowing hair silver and copper are prohibitive for the average collector, and even if they had them, these days, they're more likely slabbed than not for nice coins and would probably rather stay that way.
Most collectors think of it as roughly 1800-2000, and do not see a need for coins earlier or later than that range for this particular album

Not a bad thread to bring back from the dead.
My collection direction will change in the new year.
Always felt if I were to do a true "collection" the 7070 format in key/Semi key/major varieties would be a long term winner.

Great thread to resurrect. Always nice to see others type sets.
