Is this 1 oz Engelhard really worth what it's going for?

I don't know, I'm asking More power to the seller for getting this much with <$20 silver.

The buyer, seller or spectator...
He has new marketing method which is obviously working,
I was asked for any 00 starting bars this am..
I got Spot + $13 awhile back for that one.

yeah, and a new eBayer is bumping the hammer to paying that kind of money Good thing we can choose to believe what we want to when it comes to these values some bars go for. It's nice to have a "buddy bidder" so I'm told.
eBay is alive and well!

To compare, he will do a little better than u did on your Morgan's, but basically same deal...
And I didn't even have to have a friend with a new account bump the hammer, it was an outright sale

I see no proof of that. Bidder appears to wokring with many other sellers then.
capefearcoinsstore is always selling great Ag and often has some nice rare bars.
Loves me some shiny!

Agreed, but that's not the point. Thanks you for your commentary.
For me the bar is interesting but not at that price.

How long do you guys think it will be until bars like this are graded and even slabbed like coins are? Already there is a gap between prices paid for various qualities of bars. I had a potential buyer a while back pass on a rare-ish poured 1 oz JM bar I had because the letting wasn't deep/clear enough for his tastes.
