I actually prefer JSA for authenticating sports autographs.

As I've stated a few times.....it's pretty well known JSA is easier to get items to pass than PSA. Sellers prefer JSA because of that. Collectors prefer PSA

I disagree. I recently had a Walter Payton autograph that passed PSA fail to pass JSA. They are both great companies. I just prefer PSA more for entertainment autograph authentication than for sports autograph authentication. I totally understand that there are many collectors who disagree with my preference.

Went to my LCS today and was asking about their experience with sending to PSA vs. JSA. They told me to go with JSA. I won't state why because some of it was negative, but I think I'm going to go with JSA when I do.

I tried looking for mini-helmets on there but couldn't find it. So I'll just call customer service.
PSA/DNA is item agnostic, they charge a set fee (varies by player) to authenticate a signature regardless of what it happens to reside on.
I can tell you for sure they authenticate autographed (football) mini-helmets, as many in my Top 25 NFL Leading Rushers collection are PSA/DNA.

While this is true - don't they have a surcharge on "premium" items??
