Seeing your pics brings back a lot of memories. My dad used to bring home packs of random baseball and football cards from work to surprise me. This was the first full box we ever got to open. I remember sorting the cards with my brother by team just like you're doing now. Sweet rip.
I have a soft spot for 87 Topps FB. First set I really remember collecting. Still have a worn out Dan Marino from a pack my Grandpa bought me after church. Decided a few years ago to try some TTM requests with my old childhood collection and am currently 2 cards away from completing an autographed set.
Nice rip! Luke

That's spectacular! It'd be even better if some of the cards are beat up from being loved and admired by a kid. I'd love to see some scans!
Nice Rip! The first Marino looks awesome, as does the first Payton. Thanks for sharing.
I recently got a box off ebay. I hit a nice Jim Kelly and a few Elways, but I didn't get any Cunningham's, Marino's, Rice's, Dent's, Zimmerman's, Young's, Reed's or Hayley's…. meanwhile the Frank Minnifield's and Leroy Irving's were plentiful!
