Independence coin (no longer on indpenedance blvd, moved to a better location few years back
Scott Standafer closed his store , but might be willing to meet you at an office, he has nice high grade stuff mainly gold coins . (charlottegoldcoins.com)
I wouldn't recommend Hyatt. They are a gun shop that has expanded into coins/bullion. Overpriced.
Independence Coin is a great shop. I used to go to the shop all the time back in the 80's when I went to East Meck. I'd skip school and head over there, LOL. They have moved to Pineville on HWY 51. I believe that it is called Tower Place Shopping center.
If you are in South Charlotte you can head out to the Charlotte Coin Club meeting on the 3rd Thursday of the Month. There are some people that attend there that have some nice coins for sale. Check CCC's website for directions to the Meeting. The President of that club is one of the best guys around, and has 1 Heck of a collection.
I've gotten some great buys at Hyatt. If you look at their non-gold 20th century silver many of it has not kept up with grade/price inflation. I've gotten some decent picks there. They know their business but don't really care on the small stuff. I've submitted coins to PCGS and flipped them nicely with Hyatt stock. Just don't mention that's what you're doing.
