My vote is 1973 o-pee-chee #1 "All Time Home Run Kings" Ruth-Aaron-Mays
Currently only 1 psa 8, with none higher.

This was the 1st card that came to mind when I read the title of the thread

Surprised me as well ... there is ONE '68 Gibson sitting in a "9" holder. It's the only "9" out of 639 graded from the set (zero "10s").
I'm guessing the Don Drysdale "1968 Topps Action All-Star Stickers" won't see a "9". Only a few graded to date, with a "4" being the highest.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Wow - just ran VCP on this card. The only PSA 8 sold for $2,358. The last PSA 7 (pop 10) went off at $213.
There are a bunch of 1967 Philadelphia cards you can just never find centered (including some Packers that I need), usually with a very short lower border. I guess the Tom Matte is the worst of the bunch.
"The Packers are kinda like your kids. You dont love them because they are good, you love them because they are yours"
there was a couple roc's but no true 9's

Cool guess Andy. Took me years to find my PSA 8.
