Yet another question about PSA

I sent my first sub in, logged on the 28th of March. In it I had my 15 card cc special and a March bulk special. My question on turnaround time, do you count the day it's logged as a business day or does it start on the next day? Also do they send an email when a sub pops or do you have to log into your acc to check? If turnaround time is 7 days how long should someone wait to contact them 10,12,14 days (I know they say 7 days is an estimate)? Also if you were getting out there does really even help to call?

The answer to all these questions is - a few days after they log you should go to your account page on PSA and click the Order # link three hundred times a day until you get poppage.

They will send an email when your grades have popped. Usually they are right on time with the 6 or 7 day turnaround times.
I Ignore my submissions results and wait for them in the mail.
It's like Christmas opening a package and finding out wether you've been good or bad in the last year.

I would count the day after it logs as day one. While I've gotten much better than I was on my first couple of subs, I can't ignore the sub and wait for it to come in the mail yet. I'm sure that will come in time. I think it's fair that once you've hit double the expected business days you can call for an update. So, I'd say on the 18th if you don't have pop then give customer service a ring. Although, calling probably won't expedite the order so in the end waiting is all you can really do - LOL.

Thanks for the help! One more if you sent a card that you thought was a 9 and it pops a 10 and has a big difference in value can you add more insurence coverage for the trip home by calling customer service?

+1 Looking at your subs online and seeing 6s, 7s, or 8s before you get them? Ruins my week.

I don't sub a lot, but when I do I check them online. That way if there are any mistakes I can call costomer service before the cards shipped and get them to fix it so I don't have to ship them back out at a later date.

What you submit has a large effect on turn around times.
If you submitted a bunch of odd ball off the wall Largent cards
you might as well bank on 2 to 3 weeks past the time.
If you subbed a bunch if 1977 Topps football then expect faster
turn around times...
