PSA grading question

Might be stupid question, I just got couple cards today and when I looked up the information of the cards. It shows Population 1. What does this mean? Is this the first card graded its kind graded with a 9 or there is only 1 card graded with a 9? Thanks in advance.

    It shows the info for that cert # only
    You need to look up the population report for more info on all the cards submited

    It does mean its the only one. pop 1 is 1

    and pop report shows it

    So when another of the same card gets a psa 9. It will be 2. Ok I got it. Thanks!
