It's so sad to hear of this news. The timing was not right for his young family.
Just days ago he gave his fans and colleagues a great appearance.

WOW this is wild. Mind blowing it came just days after his big Wrestlemania weekend. I read he collapsed while walking to his car at a hotel in Arizona with his wife by his side.

I watched this promo this morning. It is almost like he knew his days were numbered.

Man, just watched part of his induction speech that "akuracy503" posted. So sad seeing his two little girls, knowing they will be growing up without a dad. Being the father of two girls as well it was tough to watch, knowing that their dad is no longer around for them. You can tell that his two girls were the loves of his life.

Hopefully kids will learn something from seeing all these great wrestlers lives ending so early. But I still think the temptation of making millions of dollars will unfortunately make these kids think that taking steroids is worth the risk.

I watched that clip too. I never saw him that I remember (I am not a sports guy but a serious collectibles guy) and he seemed in respiratory distress or some such even without a reference. Sweating, breathing hard, red faced...slow. It is very sad and also a bit worrisome. I expect many here are near that age. I am getting there. So, kiss someone today - say "I love you" too.

For the sake of his family I just hope the medical report doesn't show that he has been "blow"Ing it up just days before.
there had been reports from his colleagues in the business that he was difficult to work with because he was coked up during his matches.
explains his intensity level.

like many wrestlers he sacrificed his health for performing.

either way, he made a name for himself and that is how he wanted it to be.

Wrestllemania 6 was the last one I remember. I remember Warrior as the only guy to beat hulk hogan without cheating.

Watch this tribute to the Wrestlers who died from 1992-2013. Amazing how many died so very young and many from Drug Overdose, Suicide and Heart Attacks.

I heard the news on the way to work this morning. My best friend from high school texted me about it later in the day. It's interesting how many of us who grew up back then feel a connection to these old-time wrestlers, even though we may not have watched wrestling for over 25 years. RIP Ultimate Warrior.

Wrestlers continue to live rather short lives...... sorry to hear of the Warrior's passing.... I am glad that he entered the HOF and got that honor unlike Randy Savage.

LOL That was good.

There have been rumors for years that he was with Stephanie Mcmahon and it killed Vince. Others have said they had a falling out when he left the WWF for WCW. According to his brother Lanny Pofo it is Randy's wish to only go in if his brother and father Angelo can go in too at the same time as a family.

Oddly enough, I thought the original Ultimate Warrior had died in the 90's and his character was being played by someone else with the face paint. Was his character ever played by someone else back in the day? I'm probably just confused.

No he never died. That was a big rumor back in the day when he disappeared from wrestling for a few years.

Prior to the internet stories like that could go on for a while. Now with camera phones it doesn't take long to squash a rumor like that.

There was another guy in WCW who copied his gimmick named the Renegade. He committed suicide in his mid 30's.

That's a great warrior auto. I remember seeing him as the dingo warrior back in the day. I wish there was a card of him billed as the dingo warrior.
