I looked it up in beckett to see what it was worth and it had it as $6 x 20 =120. so i posted for help to make sure i was reading it right and found out it was $120 so i bidded n it and won it with a bid of $5.50

Book value doesn't mean much for new cards. Most dealers I know sell all new cards for 50% off book (ungraded of course). Don't mean to rain on your parade of your recent find but that's how it is.

Look up any new card that is worth $50 or more. Game used/auto's are great examples. Go to ebay and do a search for that card. Odds are you will find that card close for WAAY under book price. This isn't necessarily true for super stars or some rookie prospects in each sport.
