I have thought about this question all year as both players are clearly the best in the league. Oklahoma is going to be #2 in the West and Miami is going to be probably #1 in the East. Given the West is better top to bottom....I say this is a push. Rebounding and assists are actually fairly close.....once again a push. Overall defense.....I give a slight edge to Lebron because he can basically guard any position on the floor except a large center. Pure point scoring....I give this to Durant. FT's.....clear edge to Durant. Now the one stat I just can't ignore no matter how hard I try//FG%.....Lebron is shooting an unreal 57%.

In old school heavyweight fights....you have to knock out the champion. Lebron is still standing strong. I wish they could share the MVP.

LEBRON should win.
