  • They have always sold on ebay. Just cant remember the last time they had a lot of unopened listed.
  • May only be for consignments. All of those items are not owned by BBCE.
  • I think it's a good idea. If those boxes were put on the website, they would sell out quickly. This way, everyone has an opportunity to bid.

I just posted about these same boxes on another thread and noticed this topic after I posted there. I have a saved eBay search for BBCE boxes and today I noticed the same boxes mentioned in the original post here. I have never seen BBCE sell anything besides modern and junk wax via their eBay platform. I don't know if they are selling their own product or not. When I first saw the boxes and who was selling them, my first thought was that they were selling them on consignment.

In the description Steve says they are on consignment.

slum22 if you have never seen BBCE sell unopened wax on eBay then you have not been in the unopened game for very long. Before new entrants made the unopened market take off BBCE would auction large numbers of boxes on eBay a couple times a year. Unfortunately back then eBay auctions rarely received similar prices to their web site so they didn't do it very often. Now we see new records every couple weeks for BBCE sealed boxes on eBay as the frenzy for unopened continues unabated.

I've purchased a lot of junk wax from them on ebay... great deals to be had and endless fun rippage.

These consignment boxes will definitely be worth watching!

Of course, back then I always ripped the BBCE wrappers off the cello and rack boxes. image

I did you one better by ripping the cellos, racks and wax packs after taking off the BBCE cellophane.

That's not Steve's. It's another seller with a BBCE wrapped box.

Here is Steves ... at $925.00 and STILL FIVE DAYS TO GO!

I'm glad to see him run some auctions even if it is because of consignment. Now, people can stop complaining about the prices and availability.
