What I like about these ebay 'special' deals is if you paypal it, there is no $1 extra charge per coin for CC, or the long wait for a check to clear. Plus free shipping all the time, not with some restrictions.
<< <i>Nice use of EBAY bucks. I'm eager to see how the new anti counterfeit measures used on these coins make them appear in hand. >>
I like them a lot. They are different, too modern if you want, but I am sure the new finish will prevent milk spotting. >>
Milk spotting appears on raised surfaces as well as smooth fields. Unless Canadian Mint has changed it planchet processing effort, doubt we will see a change in the spotting. Silver Maples are notorious with spotting. I saw about 40% in my last monster box. That said, I will not let spotting issue prevent me from buying these.

You are probably right. Just keep us posted if you see milk spots on the new Maples. I don't collect silver because of milk spots but I agree that for investing purposes they shouldn't be an issue.
Still I am surprised they haven't figure out how to either clean or prevent them.

Too late! I went to the page and they still had the price... but waited approximately 10 minutes before hitting the purchase button... and low and behold, the price is now $286.

Congrats to those who got there in time. >>
Silver dropped a little since this morning, Provident still has a slightly better deal if you don't have eBay bucks to use or you are not in a rush to get the silver.
