I picked up one for under $4 last night. Of course, it's a pop of over 200 in PSA 9. There aren't that many people looking to buy high pop 9s from the 70s.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo. ~WalterSobchak

This topic has come up before--CENTERED seems to be used on many listings in which such an attribute doesn't really seem to apply.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i>To be fair, the title does not say WELL-centered. >>
Really? You can't honestly believe including the word "Centered" implies anything thing less. For real?
Centering is the one card aspect that scans can not hide. Why make yourself look foolish by adding this kind of misleading statement to your title when people are obviously going to know its not true?
So as long as I don't claim it to be "Well Centered" I'll be justified advertising this card as "Centered"?
Maybe Im missing the sarcasim, but thats one of the most ridiculous statements Ive ever heard.
I am frankly surprised and disappointed to see Probstein continue to lie to people in the title of his threads. Just trying to get more looks off ebay searches. But it's grey enough where he can do it and not break a rule.

I think that's a little dramatic. I have no problem with someone spamming the word "centered" on a PSA 9 card. Honestly, who searches eBay using the word "centered" anyway?

I personally don't care one way or another because at the end of the day your eyes can decipher centering. What is odd is I recall Rick saying he was the one who approved each listing with that word in the title. Maybe things have changed or maybe he has loosened his centering standards.
I don't closely follow this set but I too am surprised a mint card from 1975 Topps doesn't sell for more in all cases.

I find it very humorous how Probenstein list the card as "CENTERED"

Centered to me is close to 50-50 64-40 at very worse.
I like Probstein123......He always has a nice assortment of cards I am interested in.
Great customer service and ships securely and fast.
he's better than that.
I'm not sure if it gets a buyer after the scan is seen.
Personally I thing negatively on such listings.
Same as not adding oc to a description.
So Rick if you do read forums .....You are a 5 star seller for sure
