You know it's good when you place it in screw holders lol

Hey gang...

i rarelly get baseball and football being from Montreal, they dont come by often...

anyways, i went to the Jays game at the Olympic Stadium to revive memories and had a blast.

i started talking to my "sitting next to me fan" boy was he exited.....but i am glad i did. The man who was in his 70's was talking to me about the good old day and he then admit that the games he attended to was good souvenirs and that he even kept some stub from old games.....and autographed items

you know where we are going now you little devils.....well he decided it was time for him to pass them down to another collector....me....so for 100.00 bucks, he sold all the ticket stubs he got thrue the years...

the funny thing is i am curently working on a project and needed two of what he held......Life is strange....not showing the Montreal Canadiens autos...

here's a few pics, lmk what you think....i would have payed 200.00 for the collection....do you think it's a good buy ?

Nice. I can't comment on value, but I would've paid $100 just to tell the story.

I think that's very cool, sitting next to an old timer and him seeing you as worthy enough to pass on to you something he's been holding onto all these years. Bonus that you actually needed some of it too!

    Congrats.

Those 1969 Expos Jarry Park tickets remind me of a 7/20/69 bus trip from New York me and my Dad went on to see the Mets play the Expos. I remember it well because they put the moon landing news on the scoreboard. If I recall correctly the park only seated in the 20,000's. Not sure high or low 20,000's.

Talking "back in the good old days" - I was expecting something a little more vintage than...me!
I hope the old dude got at least 1/3 of the value of the items.

Was it $100 Canadian? -- Back when I lived in scenic Grand Forks ND in the 70's - late 80's, Canadian money used to be at 75% of the US dollar, but it's been pretty much equal for some time now, for what I understand. In fact, the Canadian dollar might even be worth more than the US dollar at this point.
