Just had the first of 2 orders pop this morning. Happy about some, confused about others, and ready to send back some others as soon as I receive them.

Happy about the (4) PSA 9 Montana's, (8) PSA 8 Montana's, and the Gem Mint 10 Deion/Barry/Aikman pro set rookies.

Confused on the (2) PSA 5 Montana's---I have seen some 5's, and none of the cards I sent in are even close to being that ugly.

Will look at the EOT, 7's, and everything else and see what should be sent back for round 2.

Thanks for looking!

Congrats on some of those...question for you...what is the process of sending back graded cards? What if the next grade is worse etc....? I don't have experience with regrading but some older psa cards I have might be worth it...thx

Really nice results on so many 9s and 10s.

Any idea why the N1s on the Montanas? Were they all from the same source, such as same box or same collection? Just wondering. Someone else on here recently got an N6 - Min Size Requirement on a 1980 Phil Simms RC and that seemed kind of odd.

Depends on how you send them back. If you cracked them out, you are gambling (could come back worse, or EOT, etc.)
If you send them back in the slab for review, they will not cracked it out to re grade unless it meets your minimum grade (if you specify 1).

    Hope this helps!

Not sure, they all did not come from the same source. Some were raw pickups, but most were pulled from rack/wax/cellos by me. 1 was a PSA 8 crackout that was a blazer, and another was a BGS 8.5 crackout.

I am not 100% sure which ones are which until I receive them back.

The 5s, EOT, and even the 7s are a mystery to me.

I am sure we will have to spin the wheel again on a few of them.
Confused on the Aikman Pro Sets as well, as they were just as nice as the Deions/Barrys.

    very nice sub.

will they slab the trimmed cards as "authentic" if requested?

    Thanks,

I'm hoping they will slab them as PSA 8 or 9's the next time they go back, as I don't believe any were trimmed.
Out of the 25, 19 were pulled from packs, 2 were crackouts, and 4 were raw.

Still very confused on the 5s, and 7s as well....just have to wait and see I suppose.

They'll probably slab them with 8s & 9s if resubmitted.

You received some nice ones ... congrats. Since the "5s" look nice, I'm going to guess that you missed a damn wrinkle somewhere on the card. Good Luck if you resubmit.

Check the 5s for small surface wrinkles, front and back. That is most likely the reasoning for a 5. Doesnt matter how nice it looks, if it has as small wrinkle, it will get a 5.

Thanks for the info guys, I will definitely look for wrinkles on the 5s.

I wish I had them in hand so I could see which cards are which......oh well....just a few more days.

This is exactly what it is. Send those to beckett and see what they give you.
