Recent Auction Pickups autograph balls stubs pictures rack packs and more

I have been buying a lot of things lately at auctions and thought I would start a thread to show some of the items.

1st Lot I bought mainly for the 84 Rack Packs and the Warren Spahn game. Cost was about $40. I was surprised to find ticket stubs and all the newspaper clippings. Could someone tell me what year the Tigers Ticket stub is from?

Thanks for those. Strange that it's Porterfield since he wasn't an all star. On a side note, I tried to join the Net 54 forums but my membership was denied. I was told that is the best place to get info on old time autos.

The Tigers ticket is most likely from the 1972 playoffs. The team president/owner was John E. Fetzer (see his signature on the ticket). He sold the team after the 83 season.
1972 was the only year from 69 to 83 under the division series format that the Tigers were in the playoffs.
I suppose that because the ticket is not complete (no seat numbers) that it could have been printed for a year between '69 and 83 they were in the hunt but didn't make it to the playoffs.

I don't think its Groat because he signed below Smoky Burgess in pic 2.

The panel with Willie Wilson looks like Cesar Geronimo, Jim Schaefer (a coach) and Dennis Leonard along with Wilson and Martin. Just educated guesses. I could be wrong.
