Real or Facsimile?

Inspired by a new member's recent post, I decided to look more closely at one of my signed baseballs and try to figure out which Red Sox team signed it. I was able to pinpoint the 1977 squad BUT now my brother is making me nervous with questions about its authenticity. Pics to follow, opinions desperately needed!

Facsimile, sold at the souvenir stands.

Reasons to believe they're real: some sigs go into the stitches and many faded or bled, especially Rice, which was the side most exposed to light on my shelf (photo doesn't show bleeding well)

Reasons to doubt: my grandfather left me this ball and left my brother one that was clearly facsimiles. None of the signatures overlap each other.

Note: there are no markings on the ball anywhere other than the sigs. Not sure which side that favors.

    Facsimile.

The signatures were traced over at one point to make it look like a ink signed ball. The ball looks the way it does as a result of that ink fading over time.

Stamped: note that none of the signatures touch.

Yeah, I said that. Thanks guys, I wish you were wrong. This is a huge bummer.

Facsimile. They are spaced too similarly and neatly apart. Also, they are all the same thickness.

Dan ... agree with everyone else. FACSIMILE.
    1. All done in same "ink".
    2. NONE of the letters overlap.
