Depends on what you collect? Do you want value? are you building a set? Is your set shiny? What grade?
I have a million gradeable cards in my basement but most are worthless ......

Wax packs usually have gum stain on two cards.
Cellos are wrapped too tight sometimes, plus they can be resealed.
I think racks are your best bet.
  • ok thanks, one more question. I always assume that cards that the dealers are selling aren't gradeable or they would have sent them in themselves am I right?
  • I have heard if people on this board buying raw from dealers and getting 8's and 9's of HOF and star cards vintage - but is rare.

Not entirely true. I have purchased cards from Greg Morris that graded mint.

You are wrong. Many sellers don't send cards in for grading.

Personally, when selling I try to deal with cards with a potential of $25.00 or more and almost always send them in if I think they will grade well.
