Hey folks can you help me with this one? I find this year very difficult to diagnose.

Yup, that's 101. The method I use to distinguish this from the other Recut U varieties is the relationship between star 7 and the denticle; The highest point on the star points to the middle of the denticle - not between the denticle like on the other varieties. Another less-dependable method of determining if you have the O.101 is the absence of die damage under the scroll.

O.101 is very elusive, and is rare in all grades. It beats the other XXXX varieties in rarity by several points.

Ask member zap1111 a story about he picked a Fine one from right under my nose.
