Time to say Goodbye to another Registry!

The number 3 top set Modern Mint State Type PCGS Registry is on its way out. I'll be closing it by the end of this week.
I've enjoyed finding the coins for this set and will miss them (most are spoken for).

I still have my "Worse Known" Registry to fall back on though! And... I doubt I'd ever let that one go (not that anyone's beating down my door trying to buy it!).

What scares me more than a Worst Known is trying to figure out what series he is looking at next.

Watch. As SOON as I step into my "new" Registry the prices will skyrocket! Isn't that just the luck?
Thanks for the good words. I was able to keep a couple of my super choice/person coins. The rest I'll miss. It's a fun and somewhat challenging set to put together and surprisingly, really not that expensive.

Side note: Tad's Peac 0ck arrived today and it even looks BETTER than the scan!

Tad had an auction (actually one of about four) for a 1974-S PCGS PR67CAM Peac 0ck on eBay week before last. Stunning coin! Even my wife is impressed and she NEVER gives my coins much more than a quick glance and a cursory once over, followed by a "oh, that's nice". This one she took much longer looking at and said, "Oh, wow- this ONE is REALLY Nice!"

  • Can we ask PCGS to make a "worst known" registry? All you would have to do would be to reverse the wieghts and grade averaging formulas.

And Pat would have to cross that ANACS FH dollar (do they have a PO00 grade yet???).

Hey Supercoin - If you put your green Ike in the sun, will it rip.en and turn red like a tomato? Lovely coin though, all your coins are lovely If I was you I dont think I could bring myself to sell any of them. If I had to make my living selling such coins, I would starve to death. Edited for spelling
