Worthy of a bump?

Has anyone had success with a review having a card go from a 9 to a 10?

Does this card have a chance at a 10?

Looks like a solid 9 to me. I see a few imperfections.

Does it have a tilt or is that an optical illusion?
  • Wow, that is a STRONG 9!

is that a tick on the top border in the middle?

Probably has less than a 50% shot at a bump, but worth trying once or twice IMO.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Looking from the back? That line-ish thing is a fiber? or something in the cardboard. I scanned it again:

Wow, great card. That card is nicer than a lot of the 10 s that are out there and should probably be a 10 holder, That being said, it will likely take you 2-3 times if you get a bump ;-)

Slight chipping along left edge and tilt keep it from being a 10, imo..

It could have made it into a 10 holder the first time around and would look as good as some Rice 10's I've seen. My opinions: Really, really minor front left edge chipping. Possibly made worse in the scan by the size of the scan. Top right corner-front may not be 100% frazor, but that may be due to the size of the scan. Second white line from the top has a minor blue-ish print issue. Centering isn't 50/50 obviously but I believe is within 60/40 easily. Slightest of tilts, but still within 60/40 centering. The eye appeal of the front even with the minor issues is too strong to worry about much on the back IMO. If you resub, good luck. Will depend on the grader and his attention to detail. :ThumbsUp

Might not be.a 10 but that is one awesome, fish eye free, sharp cornered card. I love it.

I could see it as a ten. And it has the benefit of not having the white stripes cover any of the corners, letting the strong corners really stand out.

  • Do you want to sell it?

I need a nice one like this to crack out for my raw set.

    Whats a 9 go for?
