Does anyone here collect Orders and Decorations?

I'm intrigued by the Latin American stuff from the first half of the 19th century. I've bought a handful on a lark, and am thinking I'd like to take it to the next level. Any advice and leads would be appreciated!

    Here´s a great example:

Obviously an expensive piece, but the vast majority of pieces in this field are highly affordable.

I always fancied the Order of Cincinnatus medal. I also like that B. Franklin terracota with the beaver hat............cool beans. image

Now that is neat. How much of a following is there for those and how much of it is outside Latin America?

After France got over the humiliation of its defeat by Prussia, it honor the veterans with this medal.

Don Bailey's upcoming Whitman Encyclopedia of Mexican Money
includes brief discussion of orders and decorations.

The book will be out this year.
